Gardening Group Meeting

The Holy Cross Gardening Group invites all individuals who like to garden (or would like to learn to garden) to join us for our next meeting in the Rose Garden on Saturday, February 18th, at 8:00 AM. In case of unfavorable weather conditions, we will meet on February 25th instead. Please bring your gardening tools, such as shovels, gloves, digging tools, and weeding tools. During this meeting, we will focus on maintaining the garden's beauty by weeding the flower beds, pruning the roses, laying pine straw, and fertilizing the lawn.

Shrove Tuesday Gumbo Supper

Join us for our annual Shrove Tuesday/Fat Tuesday celebration on Tuesday, February 21st, at 6:00 PM. The Holy Cross Kitchen Krewe will serve a delicious feast of gumbo, salad, garlic bread, and king cake. Dress in your Mardi Gras best and come with an appetite. Please call the church to make a reservation so the Kitchen Krewe can prepare accordingly. A suggested donation of $7.00 is appreciated to help cover the cost of the meal.
